Our media landscape is in turmoil, but not for the reasons we might think. A struggle to keep the lights on, the need for blazing fast writing to keep up with the speed of the internet, and an increasing desire for entertainment from readers and viewers are the three main factors contributing to our broken media landscape today. Knowing and understanding these problems can help us understand where and how the media creates havoc in our lives and how we can respond to it.
